Privacy Policy
SnoozeCalc runs its calculations in your browser. This policy explains browser preferences, website delivery and analytics, affiliate links, and our plans for advertising.
Calculator information and shared URLs
Times, dates, sleep-latency settings, cycle-length settings, and nap selections are calculated locally by JavaScript. SnoozeCalc does not require an account or send a calculator submission to a remote calculation service.
When you use a URL containing calculator settings, including a link created with the share control, those settings are part of the URL. A requested or shared URL may reach hosting infrastructure, browser history, or a service or person with whom you share it. Do not put sensitive personal information into URLs or messages.
Local browser storage
SnoozeCalc uses localStorage for the snoozecalc-time-format preference, which remembers 12-hour or 24-hour time formatting. You can remove this preference using your browser's site-data controls. Clearing it does not prevent you from using the calculators.
Website delivery and infrastructure logs
Cloudflare delivers and protects this website. Hosting and security services may process technical information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser information, timestamps, and security events. Processing and retention by those providers depend on their services and policies; SnoozeCalc does not promise that every infrastructure request is unlogged.
Cloudflare analytics
SnoozeCalc currently uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page use and performance. Its browser beacon reports technical page and performance information. Cloudflare describes this analytics service as not using cookies or localStorage for analytics and not fingerprinting visitors. This does not mean that no technical information reaches Cloudflare. Amazon affiliate links
Selected articles contain Amazon Associates links. SnoozeCalc may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through these links, at no extra cost to you. The links contain a referral identifier. If you follow a link, Amazon receives the request and may process technical information or use cookies under its own policies. SnoozeCalc does not receive your Amazon payment details through these links.
Read our Affiliate Disclosure. Amazon's own privacy notice governs its services. Affiliate recommendations do not require you to buy anything to use SnoozeCalc.
Google advertising is not active
SnoozeCalc is preparing for Google AdSense. Display advertisements and the AdSense advertising script are not active on this site as of this policy update. Publishing an authorized-seller record in ads.txt does not itself load an advertisement or an advertising cookie.
If Google advertising is activated later, Google and participating advertising providers may process technical information and use cookies or similar storage. Non-personalized advertising can also use storage. We will update this policy to describe the actual configuration and put the applicable consent and privacy-choice mechanisms in place before advertising begins. Those future controls are not currently installed. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
If you email SnoozeCalc, the message and address you provide may be retained as needed to respond, maintain records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. Do not send sensitive health or financial information.
External sites and your choices
External websites have their own privacy practices. You can choose not to follow affiliate links, clear SnoozeCalc's saved time-format preference, and use your browser's privacy controls. These choices do not prevent local calculator use. Browser controls do not necessarily remove information already processed by another provider.
Children
SnoozeCalc does not knowingly solicit personal information from children. The calculator does not require a name, age, account, or profile.
